Carlo Ancelotti joked that Vinicius Jr “cried for three or four hours” after being left out of the FIFA Best Men’s Player award.
WHAT HAPPENED? After being left out of the nominations earlier this week, the Real Madrid boss was asked if the 23-year-old was affected by the news, to which he responded in typical Ancelotti fashion in news conference.
WHAT THEY SAID: “Vinicius was crying in the dressing room. I asked him ‘what’s going on’ and he said, ‘They didn’t put me on that list.’ He cried for three or four hours and we couldn’t stop him,” the Italian joked.
